Got DRAMA?

🤍 WWJD: How Would Jesus Respond to Drama?

In today’s culture, it’s common to hear advice like, “Cut out toxic people,” or “Avoid the drama.” And yes, creating boundaries is sometimes necessary when someone refuses to address harmful patterns. But what if we took a moment to reflect on how Jesus approached people in pain?

💡 The Truth About Drama:
What we call "drama" is often a cry for help. Beneath the surface, it could be unresolved hurt, unmet needs, or misunderstandings that need clarity. In some cases, a simple 30-minute conversation might be the very thing God uses to bring healing, and reconciliation, and end the "drama". In many cases, "toxic behavior" might be the symptom of a deeper wound, not a person's true heart or desired behavior.

How Did Jesus Respond?
Jesus didn’t avoid people in their mess—He moved toward them with compassion. Whether it was the woman at the well, the tax collector despised by society, or the sinner caught in the act, He sought to understand, heal, and restore. He saw their struggles not as reasons to run away, but as opportunities to pour out love and truth.

📖 “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” (Mark 2:17)

🙏 What Can You Do?
Next time someone in your life seems caught in "drama," pause. Instead of turning away, ask:
🤔 Why are they hurting?
💔 What is unresolved that needs healing?
💬 How can I show compassion, understanding, or offer guidance?

Your kindness might be the bridge to their breakthrough. You might offer the clarity, love, or encouragement they need to get back on track—or even seek help for the issues they’re facing.

💡 Remember, boundaries are about protecting your peace, but compassion is about reflecting Christ. Striking the balance between the two can transform not only others but your own heart.

💬 Let’s choose to love like Jesus—even in the mess.
